Health and Wellness is an essential part of our golf club by not only providing golfers with the right support for a better golf foundation but also providing the Community in engaging in an active and healthy lifestyle. We aim to provide a holistic and integrative approach to physical, mental and spiritual health and aim to create and maintain a healthy and caring community in Qatar.

Fitness Coaches





Carolina Heller is Yoga and Pilates structor, registered at Yoga Alliance US(E-RYT® 200, RYT® 500, RPYT®) and Body Control Pilates/Active IQ Matwork Level 3 and Reformer. She holds specialization in Children, Children with Special needs, Pregnancy, Pilates for Bone Health (Osteoporosis), Pilates for low back pain practitioner, Pilates for Elderly, Pilates with GP Exercise Referral, Pilates with small equipments. She has been teaching Yoga since 2006 and Pilates since 2013. Carolina combines her passion and knowledge to make Pilates and Yoga accessible to everyone. In her classes practitioners can explore theirs bodies, develop theirs proprioceptive skills, build strength and clarifying the mind. Helping them to find awareness in their own practice and life.


Jessica Humphreys


Body Conditioning & Personal Training

Jessica Jane Humphreys is a level three advanced physical and activity instructor with GP referral, exercise to music and a range of group exercise qualifications including kettlebells, circuits, spinning and step aerobics. She has worked in the fitness industry in The United Kingdom for 14 years adding to her qualifications throughout. Jessica’s passion is and always has been sports and fitness, constantly looking for ways to develop her knowledge and expertise has led her to designing her own group classes here at Education City Golf Club. Using her vast experience Jess has created a class structure based around improving core competencies for golfers: aiming to improve fitness, power, strength and mobility which in turn will allow for a better game and prevention of injury


Karen Breheny



Karen’s first discovered Pilates after a traffic accident in 1998. Attending Pilates helped with her lower back pain, improved her posture balance and the overall strength and flexibility of her body. She was ‘Hooked’. Not only did she feel physically stronger, she found the focus in class was her time, a welcome release from her hectic work and family life. After relocating with her husband and family to Qatar in 2015. Karen Jumped at the chance to train as a certified ‘Body Control Pilates’ (BCP), Mat work teacher. She has gone on to complete: Intermediate and Advanced mat work courses; Pilates for bone heath (osteoporosis); Children’s Pilates and Pilates on the foam roller. She recently qualified as a certified instructor on the Pilates Reformer. Karen loves working with her clients on posture, alignment and focusing the body and mind with movement. Her classes are challenging and interesting whilst maintaining the ethos of BCP Alignment Breathing and Core stability.
